The @LIKE - Linking Innovation, Knowledge and Employment - program was designed to help disconnected young adults ages 18-24 reconnect with education and employment. Specialized program services included life coaches/mentors, individualized career exploration and development, national work readiness certification, work experience and internships, standardized assessments, and supportive services to promote success in achieving educational and employment goals.

The project was funded through the U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Innovation Fund to a consortium of the Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Imperial County Workforce Boards.

The multi-county project was designed to achieve three broad goals:

  • Move disconnected young adults to positive education and/or employment outcomes.
  • Build a system where the three counties effectively collaborate to serve disconnected young adults.
  • Create a replicable service model at the program level that others can learn from and adapt.

Colton Redlands Yucaipa ROP was one of nine @LIKE Program sites established within the three counties.

The @LIKE Program launched in 2013 and ended in December 2015.
