Automotive Technician 1 is a foundational course that provides students with basic vehicle service skills and a general understanding of automotive system components for entry-level jobs. Emphasis is placed on proper use of common tools, equipment, personal protective equipment and OSHA safety practices in the workplace and general lab.

Career Planning & Management is designed to assist student’s transition from school to work, make career path decisions, and develop employment skills.

Construction Technology 2 is the capstone course in the Residential and Commercial Construction pathway designed to provide students with technical knowledge and practical shop experience for an entry level job in the building industry. Students will practice and master framing and roofing techniques, site preparation, blueprinting, measurements, and construction site safety.

This is a concentrator course in the two-year public safety pathway designed to expose students to the Criminal Justice system and occupations while creating an awareness of criminology and social justice concerns.

Emergency Medical Responder 1 is designed for students interested in emergency medical services, hospital and safety public personnel such as emergency medical technician, firefighter, paramedic and emergency room personnel.

Medical Assistant Clinical 1 covers medical terminology, a prerequisite for the medical assistant program, and administrative duties necessary for employment in the front office or reception area of a medical facility and physician’s office.

Medical Assistant Clinical 3 is the capstone course for the Medical Assistant program. It is designed to equip students with medical assisting skills necessary for employment in a variety of medical settings.

Virtual Enterprise 2 is the capstone course in the Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment pathway. Students learn the principles of micro and macroeconomics and apply those principles by setting-up and operating a simulated business in preparation for working a real business environment.
